       Fall has flown by but it has been an exceptional year for color in both the high country and on the plains. I have executed many plein air pieces and will be busy in my studio the next several months working on colorful canvasses! 
    
     My recent Open Studios event was a great success. Nearly 200 visitors came by over the two-weekends. Most of my work is sold through galleries or over the internet so I do not often have the opportunity to interact with the people that collect my paintings. It is certainly a great pleasure to visit with people about my process and my work.
