Our Colorado summer is simply spectacular. Although we have to compete with tourists for parking spaces at trailheads and tables at restaurants I thoroughly enjoy seeing people from all over the world discover the wonders of the Rocky Mountain West.
I am in the field a lot this time of year in search of special places to capture on canvas. Most of my field work does not make its way to galleries or shows but is used for source material in the studio. Those finished paintings will start showing up at my Fall events and throughout the winter.
